Two story 20 classroom school with 8 administrative offices.Provide 800 boys and 100 girls of Du Abe a quality school in which to enhance their studies and a better learning environment.

Provide 800 boys and 100 girls of Du Abe with a quality school in which to study and learn for a brighter future in Du Abe and Afghanistan. Comments: COR: SFC Ramos, Joseph. Du Abe Boys and Girls School is the number #1 priority of the Bamyan PRT and is on the PDP.

16-Jul-2012: Uploaded TOA doc. Jun 8 2009 Summary: Project was put out to tender today pending availability of funds. Closing date for the tender is 28 Jun 09 Aug 17 2009 waiting on 82nd to fund Nov 30 2009 Project still not funded, will be re-submitted Jan 2010. Feb 5 2010 Project still not funded however, it's Nomination will be submitted NLT 20-FEB-10 as this remains the BSO's #1 development priority. SOW is currently being revised. Mar 25 2010 MEDIA UPLOADED May 15 2010 The Du Abe Boys and Girls School is still in the Nomination Phase. Currently all paperwork except Land Use and Sustaiment memo's are complete. The project is at legal review. Jul 8 2010 RC East (101st Div) is reviewing the packet. Jul 10 2010 There currently is no Secondary School in this part. Project is currently at Division for review. Jul 20 2010 Uploaded amended LOJ with MG Campbell's Signature block. Also enhanced ADR to reflect project coordination. SFC A Jul 31 2010 uploaded correct CERP contract IAW BDE directives. Also uploaded a memorandum to show how project is nested in the BDE and DIV campaign plans. Uploaded TF Wolverine checklist. SFC A Aug 23 2010 Uploaded new TF101 Story Board, SFC Assanowicz'z PM Docs, New ADR and PR&C with PM change, amended Draft CERP Contract SFC A Sep 19 2010 At Division. Due to seismic standards set forth in ISAF FRAGO 21-07-10, Division took over this project and redesigned the SOW. Have not heard anything back on the status of project, if its funded, ect. Have not received a copy of the revised SOW, IGCE, or funded PR&C. Having NZPRT LO (MAJ FIU) follow up at Bagram. SFC A Oct 6 2010 Still awaiting the approval process through the BDE and Divison. Oct 11 2010 Removed outdated documents. Uploaded new IGCE, PR&C, drawings, ADR, and SOW. Corrected project amount total. Josh M. Nov 17 2010 Project has been sent out for bid. Closing date at Bagram contracting office is 30 Nov 10. If do not hear anything by 7 Dec 10, call Bagram contracting office. Dec 6 2010 Recieved proposals from Bagram Contracting office and reviewing. 30 Jan 2011 SFC Ramos the Project Manager of this project. Send patrol to talk to the District Sub Governor/Elders for the new location of the project. The new location of the project will be published in the new Scope of Work. 16 March 2011: SFC Hutt takes over project from SFC Ramos. Uploaded PM and COR appointments. I will be meeting with contractor on site 22 March to discuss actual location and pre-construction briefing. 2 may 2011: preconstruction meeting complete on 1 may. waiting on KO to issue NTP for contractor to begin work. wmh 14 may 2011: upload NTP, COR appointment of SFC Hutt. ground breaking ceremony was held on site 5 May. Contractor has begun leveling and moving materials to construction site. wmh 2 Jun 2011: site visit conducted 20 May, contractor has completed leveling and compacting and preparing to install rebar. uplaod monthly update with photos. wmh 24 Aug 2011: Site visits by PM or USACE could not be conducted due to a no vehicle movement until an authorization letter was approved by CJTF-1. Once we had approval, the PRT Commander deemed all the routes a high threat area and restricted movement by LAV's only. We have accepted updates through the contractor by sending us photographs. 1st and 2nd payment uploaded with photo. wmh 04November 2011: Second floor of the building started. 4th payment submitted. Progress Pictures submitted. 27 November 2011: Project's inspection on 22 Nov 11. Work has progressed very well since the last inspection by photos. The center section was two stories and under roof. The right wing was one story and the walls and columns for the second story were ready to start. The left wing was one story and the walls and columns for the second story were approximately 70% cmplete. Inspection Report attached. LKO 10 DEC 2011- Submit CERP nominations in CENTRIX. 11 Jan 2012: Inspection conducted by Project PM 1LT Leopold Odah and USACE Engineer Mr. Barry Brockway. Project in progress according to schedule. About 80% cmpleted. Second storage building ceiling poured. first floor windows installed and plastering has started. 6th payment submitted. 18 Feb 2012: Submitted 6th payment deposited into contractor's account 02 MAR 2012: Work halted due winter weather 02 April 2012: Work still halted due to winter weather. -KMG 15 April 2012: Contractor had submitted 7th Invoice. Invoice on hold until physical inspection of the project to make sure the work's prgress meets the required milestone. Photographic evidence requested from the contractor not received yet. LKO 14 MAY: Unit has not conducted review in conjuntion with 7th invoice. Project is waiting to deliver new desks for school. Currently at 85% cmplete. SM. 31 Aug 2012: Updated Financial Tab information. CJTF-1/CJ9 DIV CIM 1 Sep 2012: PM changed from 1lt Odah to LTC David Kelly. LTC Kelly DD 577 and Training Certificates uploaded. CJTF-1/CJ9 DIV CIM 19 November LT Orndorff notified that the school was completed and ready to be handed over to GIRoA. Lt Orndorff inspected the school with a USACE inspector. 15 December LTC Kelly up loaded the Close out MFR and ADR. Still waiting on the close out OSD from the CJ-8 finance. LTC elly uploaded the ods close out sheet amd changed the project status to completed transfered 5 February 2013: Uploaded a signed Contract for Du Abe School; Adjusted Actual End and last Payment Date.
